ALPENA -- Traverse City Central bounced back from a mid-week loss to rival TC West with a 8-3 Big North Conference victory at Alpena on Friday.
The Trojans (9-10, 6-3 BNC) led 5-0 after the first period.
Alex Wietrick had a hat-trick for Central, including two unassisted goals. He also had two assists on the night.
Lucas Little, Garrett Frain, Jared VanWormer, Stuart Stevenson and Cooper Macdonell all had goals for the Trojans. Caleb Morgan had two assists while Little, Trevor Mattis, Max Schrank and Brady Brantley all had one.
Bill Vermetten had 19 saves for Central.
