TRAVERSE CITY -- Eight different players scored Wednesday night as Traverse City Central coasted to a 9-2 Big North Conference hockey win over Petoskey.
Stuart Stevenson and Keanen Armour netted their first career varsity goals in the triumph.
Central improved to 6-6 overall and 3-1 in the league.
Jared VanWormer had two goals and two assists to pace the Trojans, who led 2-0 and 6-1 after the first two periods.
Alex Wietrick added a goal and two assists while Cooper Macdonell, Adam Swy, Trevor Mattis and Caleb Morgan all had one goal and one assist. Max Schrank picked up two assists while Connor Gartland and Harmon Grubbs each had one assist.
"We got a lot of people involved," Central coach Chris Givens said.
Billy Maguire and Chris Howard tallied for Petoskey. Maguire's goal 15 seconds into the second period cut the gap to 2-1. Central then scored four unanswered goals in the period.
Petoskey's Michael Patullo stopped 35 shots in the first two periods.
