Festival of Races
5K race at 7:30 a.m. and 15K at 8 a.m. along College Drive at Northwestern Michigan College. Runners may pick up their race number today between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m. Eastern Elementary, 1600 Eastern Ave. in Traverse City. For details, visit www.cherryfestival.org/festival-of-races.
9 a.m.
Golden Mile
Men's and women's elite mile road race. Front and Union Streets in downtown Traverse City.
9 a.m. Million Dollar Hole-In-One Final Shoot Out
Qualifiers from the week return for a shot at $1 million. Bay Meadows Golf Course, 5550 Bay Meadows Drive, Traverse City.
10 a.m. Cherry Idol Finals
Finalists from the week compete for the 2012 Cherry Idol title. Festival Open Space Park, corner of Grandview Parkway and Union Street.
10 a.m. Kids' Festival Matinee
Rio. Free tickets available at the Traverse City State Theatre, 233 E. Front St.
11 a.m.
