TRAVERSE CITY — A poker jackpot that awards money for a losing hand paid out $64,423 to an Ellsworth man at the Turtle Creek Casino & Hotel.
The 50 percent payout of the "Bad Beat Jackpot" was doled out Tuesday to Lenny Miller, who was one of eight poker players at a poker table where the progressive jackpot hit. Miller won the jackpot with a losing hand of two sevens. Another player won $32,211 with a pair of queens. Several other players at the table when the jackpot hit won $5,000 each.
