It's a crime

If an adult, male or female, performs a sexual act on a minor, male or female, it is a crime. It does not matter if it is a male or female who performs the act; it is a crime. If the minor child consents to the act, it is a crime. They, the children or child, are not of an age to consent to this act.

Think what is being taken away from this child; it can never be given back.

Adult (male or female), think before you act.

Lives are ruined because of someone not thinking first.

God's gift to us is our children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and over many years, our foster children.

That is my opinion and I'm sticking to it.

God-given beauty

Ask any of the natives why we stay and live here in Traverse City. Ask tourists why they travel from all over the country by the thousands to visit this area. Invariably, the answer will be the natural, God-given beauty.

But five years of study after study, committee after committee, involving countless thousands of dollars, and all the powers to be all seem so destined to change all that.

We have a gorgeous, natural, unique, one-of-a-kind bayfront. Why spend millions of dollars to transform it to the "unnatural" to look like every other bayfront in the country, glitzy, paved-over, signs everywhere to stay off this or that, and a pool to boot?

A cool, natural-looking pedestrian overpass, improved/added restrooms is all that's needed for an already perfect bayfront.

Natural, God-given beauty — that's Traverse City.
