Do we prefer war?

The military industrial complex is busy feeding fear-of-Iran to us so that we will agree to war with Iran.

But ... we were lied to in order to make war in Vietnam (and lost).

We were lied to in order to make war on Iraq (and to no avail).

Now we're being deceived about a threat from Iran because of its effort, seemingly, to produce nuclear weapons.

Big deal! There are nine countries that have nuclear capability, like North Korea, like Pakistan.

Fear of mass destruction has kept nations from using those weapons since 1945.

Iran has been attacked in a variety of ways by Israel, and understandably, wants to have equal abilities to deter further attacks from them.

Is that surprising?

Our Pentagon can't ever account for how its enormous funds are spent. Plus corruption is constant amongst military contractors.

Why provide more money to them ("the most profitable business in the world") when our young people need better schools and jobs, and our highways badly need repairs?

Do we really prefer making war to providing for our own? Diplomacy costs much less than war-making.

Needless suffering

People who promote hate teach children to hate. To steal a child's innocence, replacing it with hate-filled lies, creates an endless cycle of suffering and violence.

Adults are mirrors to our youth, forming their beliefs about themselves and their purpose in this life. Why create needless suffering? Why create hate-motivated violence? People like Paul Nepote and Bill Wiesner are perfect examples of how hate-filled lies destroy the future of our youth, therefore the future of humanity.

Teach peace through love and respect. Stop hatred and violence through blatant lies.
