Make the politicians pay
The war in Iraq is over. A hearty well done to everyone, but we are still not sure where we will fight next. Meanwhile, politicians squabble for the money left over in the budget.
The payroll tax is still in question; as the only thing that Washington is positive about is that they still want our money. Many politicians will say that there simply is not enough money to pay for everything. They cannot afford to pay for (blank). A lot of things fill (blank) in that sentence: jobs, construction, jet fighters, unemployment, education, etc.
The local list for (blank) includes pedestrian tunnels, firefighters, defibrillators in police cars, better programs in schools, paved roads, even subsidies for wind turbines and green energy. The politicians state they are out of money. Of course, they only make this claim after they have taken their cut.
Here is a way to prevent wars in foreign countries: Take the money for veteran care from the politicians' paychecks and the big bucks for their election campaigns. Troop deployments might stop when you make the politicians pay for damages to our kids themselves. Money is the only thing they understand, keeping theirs and taking yours.

Your choice is coming
Let's say you come home from work and find there has been a sewer backup in your neighborhood, and your home has sewage all the way up to your ceilings.
What do you think you should do, raise the ceilings or pump out the sewage?
Your choice is coming November 2012.
