TRAVERSE CITY — The Northern Michigan Environmental Action Council will host the 24th Annual Environmentalist of the Year Awards & Celebration on April 27 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Park Place Dome.
Great Lakes author Jerry Dennis will be the featured speaker. The Great Lakes Bioneers will also be part of the program.
Nominations are now being accepted in the following categories: Student, Educator, Business, Journalism & Communications, Agriculture, Public Service or Public Office, Grassroots Group, Volunteer, Professional and General.
