TRAVERSE CITY — A Suttons Bay man will remain behind bars after police accused him of unarmed robbery.
Eighty-Sixth District Judge Mike Stepka on Tuesday arraigned Gregory G. Sawmick, 30, on a felony count of unarmed robbery in 86th District Court. Sawmick remained in the Grand Traverse County Jail Wednesday on a $500,000 cash bond.
A man told Traverse City police that Sawmick and Dakota G. Stevens held and punched him while another man stole his watch, money and cell phone, court records show.
Stevens also faces a felony count of unarmed robbery.
