TRAVERSE CITY — City police arrested a man who they believe illegally entered parked cars.
Michigan State Police went to Meijer Thursday evening on a report of a suspect entering parked cars. The area was checked, but the suspect wasn't found.
Later, shortly after 11:30 p.m., city police responded to the parking lot of North Peak Brewing Company on Front Street on a similar report. They found a 28-year-old Traverse City man who matched the description of the Meijer suspect trying to climb a fence.
The man is expected to be charged with illegal entry. The cars he entered were unlocked, police said.
