TRAVERSE CITY — The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory for the Grand Traverse region through Thursday.
The region can expect to see two to three inches of snow daily through Thursday, said Scott Rozanski, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Gaylord.
"It's going to look like the middle of winter," Rozanski said. "I would say no more than 8 inches. It's going to be blowing around."
Temperatures will be about 10 degrees below normal through the week with the daily highs ranging from 25 to 30 degrees.
