TRAVERSE CITY — Authorities issued a criminal charge in connection with a downtown traffic crash.
Ryan Patrick Decatur, 21, of Long Lake Township, is charged with a count of operating while intoxicated causing serious injury.
Police said Decatur was going at least 60 miles per hour down Front Street when he slammed into a Cherry Capital Cab in the Union Street intersection at about 12:30 a.m. Saturday.
Two women in the cab were injured. One of them suffered a broken vertebrae, police said.
Decatur was arraigned this morning. A preliminary examination is set for Nov. 6.
