Sheriff: 2 live grenades found

GRAYLING — Authorities say people cleaning a shed in Michigan’s northern Lower Peninsula found a pair of live grenades.

The Crawford County sheriff’s office says deputies and Michigan State Police were called Tuesday to the Grayling-area home following the discovery.

Members of the Michigan National Guard also responded. After determining that both grenades were live the guard members took them away to be destroyed.

No injuries were reported.
