TRAVERSE CITY — A participant in the Ride for Father Fred was in critical condition after he crashed his motorcycle.
Charles Langford, 63, of Rapid City, crashed his bike as he rode south on Peninsula Drive near Eastern Avenue on Sunday shortly before 1 p.m. He crossed into the north lane and struck a mailbox, Traverse City Police said.
He was taken to Munson Medical Center and was listed in critical condition on Monday. He wore a helmet, police said.
