ACME — A "visioning" session for Acme Township's Placemaking Project is set for next week.
The project focuses on the township's shoreline corridor along U.S. 31 and residents will be asked to assess its present condition and offer ideas on how to improve its safety and aesthetics. Township Supervisor Wayne Kladder said a corridor plan will be developed this fall.
The session is June 27 starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Williamsburg Showcase Dinner Theatre at 4230 E. M-72. Consultant John Iacoangeli will lead the program. More information is available at www.acmeshores.org, or by contacting the township office at (231) 938-1350.
