TRAVERSE CITY — Organizers of the city's Fourth of July fireworks show reached their funding goal.
The "Traverse City Boom Boom Club," a nonprofit group organized last year to create a sustainable funding model for the event, met a $45,000 goal, a spokesman said Wednesday. Additional donations will be accepted to fund future shows.
Contributions can be made online at www.TCBoomBoom.org, or by check to the Cherry Festival Foundation/Boom Boom Club.
