GRAYLING -- Deputies arrested two men after they allegedly stole twelve pounds of marijuana from a local residence.
Crawford County sheriff's deputies responded to a reported burglary Tuesday morning at a seasonal residence in Frederic Township.
On their way to the scene, deputies saw two men walking north on Old U.S. 27 with garbage bags slung over their shoulders, according to a press release from the sheriff's department.
Both men allegedly ran into the woods after seeing the deputies, but were apprehended. Deputies seized 12 pounds of marijuana, a weapon and cash from the men.
The homeowner who reported the break-in allegedly admitted the marijuana was his, and also was arrested.
