TRAVERSE CITY -- Brad Haney has been named the new head coach of the Traverse City Wolves.
The announcement came during a press conference held Monday at the Great Wolf Lodge.
Haney replaces Daniel Skibbe, who coached the team in its inaugural season in 2009 while also serving as team owner and general manager. Skibbe will keep his other positions moving forward.
Haney, 29, has previous experience as the head coach of the Grand Rapids Thunder.
