A semitruck driver was cited after his vehicle loaded with scrap vehicles and metal overturned and dumped debris along an Antrim County road.
Randy Ducil, 45, who drives for Nash Trucking in Ludington, was traveling east along Alba Highway near Olds Road in Star Township when the heavy truck and trailer rolled off the road, spilling the scrap metal along the side of the highway.
The one-vehicle crash happened around 8 a.m. Tuesday, and clean-up work blocked traffic for several hours.
Emergency responders took Ducil to Otsego Memorial Hospital in Gaylord for treatment of minor injuries. Antrim County sheriff's officers ticketed him for careless driving.
