TRAVERSE CITY — The last hazardous waste collection for 2010 for Grand Traverse County is scheduled for Sept. 30.
Appointments are needed for the collection, which is scheduled from 1 to 7 p.m. Call 941-5555 to schedule an appointment.
There is no cost for waste up to 150 pounds; cost thereafter is $1.30 a pound. The charge for televisions and electronics is 38 cents per pound.
Accepted material includes oil-based paints, automobile fluids, cleaning products, pesticides, mercury, moth balls, pool chemicals more more.
Businesses are required to complete the CESQG form.
