The Record-Eagle printed incorrect dates for the Michigan Schooner Festival in Friday's paper because of a production error.
The second annual festival is scheduled for Sept. 10-12, and will feature seven tall ships in the Grand Parade of Sail opener at 7 p.m. Sept. 10. Highlights set for the rest of the weekend include ship tours, music, food and other nautically themed activities.
The Maritime Heritage Alliance in Traverse City sponsors the festival, which assists its efforts to preserve, interpret and share historic boats. Thousands of visitors attended last year's inaugural event.
