TRAVERSE CITY — A Traverse City woman was hospitalized after she crashed her bicycle into oncoming traffic.
The bicyclist, 38, attempted to cross Cass Street Tuesday afternoon when a motorist, 66, crashed into her. The collision launched the woman from her bicycle seat on to the vehicle's windshield.
The bicyclist was treated at Munson Medical Center for serious injuries, while the motorist received minor injuries.
Traverse City Police did not issue a ticket, but said the bicyclist was at fault.
