Kalkaska woman found dead in van

MANCELONA -- Authorities are investigating after a Kalkaska woman was found dead in her van.

Amanda Brookz Harding, 27, was found dead in the parking lot of Glen's Market in Mancelona at about 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Mancelona Police Chief William Robbins said.

Police don't know what caused the death, Robbins said. Harding's body was taken to a Grand Rapids hospital for an autopsy, and results aren't expected to be ready for several weeks.

There was no trauma to Harding's body, Robbins said.

Anyone with information can contact the Mancelona Police Department at 587-8462.
