KALKASKA —
It appears Bruce Soloway edged out Denny Corrado in Kalkaska County's Republican primary race for sheriff.
"Semifinal official results" released by the county this morning show Soloway with 783 votes and Corrado with 775. It's not clear if all precincts are reporting.
The winner of that race faces incumbent Sheriff Dave Israel, a Democrat, in November.
