Mary Gillis
TRAVERSE CITY — Grand Traverse County road commissioners authorized their attorney to negotiate a settlement with Mary Gillis, road commission manager.
The board took no other action following a closed session with their attorney Wednesday morning. The board voted in May not to extend Gillis' contract.
Gillis remains employed by the road board until Oct. 16 unless the settlement releases her earlier.
Gillis already accepted a position with the Oakland County Road Commission.
