TRAVERSE CITY — The Boardman River Nature Center will host an open house for teachers, school administrators and members of the public interested in helping youths learn about natural resources.
The Jan. 24 gathering is from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Nature Center, 1450 Cass Road.
Grand Traverse Conservation District staff will showcase some of the district's educational resources and tools during the event.
Individuals interested in attending should contact Courtney Bierschbach, the district's education coordinator, at cbierschbach@gtcd.org or at 941-0960, ext. 24, by Jan. 17.
