TRAVERSE CITY — City officials could rezone property on a busy intersection to allow for a CVS drugstore.
Traverse City Commissioners on Tuesday could vote to rezone property on the northeast corner of the intersection of Front and Division streets. The rezoning would allow for the store and a parking lot where a vacant gas station now stands.
The commission meets Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Governmental Center on Boardman Avenue. The meeting was rescheduled from Monday because of Presidents Day.
The city's planning commission recommended the zoning change at a Jan. 4 meeting.
