TRAVERSE CITY — Traverse City police are investigating several thefts from cars downtown.
Officers responded early this morning to a reported larceny from a car that occurred overnight at the Park Place Hotel. The department received several more calls through the morning of similar incidents in the 400 block of East Front Street and into the Boardman neighborhood.
Victims told police their car windows were smashed out and small items like wallets, checkbooks and electronics were taken. Anyone with information is asked to call the department's detective bureau at 995-5151 or the Silent Observer Tip Line at 947-TIPS.
