Police: Man stole, then sold electronics

TRAVERSE CITY — A Traverse City man stole expensive electronic equipment from a local residence, then pawned the merchandise for cash, deputies said.

Grand Traverse County authorities last week charged Aaron Bruce Warner, 25, with second-degree home invasion, a felony punishable by up to 15 years in prison and/or $3,000.

Warner in March broke into a Long Lake Township residence and stole two computers, jewelry and a video-game console, authorities said. An employee at Ace Buyers in Traverse City told Grand Traverse sheriff's deputies that Warner pawned the stolen items at his store, court records show.
