TRAVERSE CITY — Mo and Mike Ennenga chatted amiably with customers from their farm market stand stocked with Alaskan-caught seafood.
Their Traverse City company Alaskan Premium Seafoods sells fish on market days at the Grand Traverse Commons, to local restaurants and at a few area stores. Mike is a long line fisherman, who spends much of the year in Alaskan waters. The couple’s company offers locals a chance to purchase cod, halibut, salmon and other seafood directly from the fisherman.
“You can buy a great piece of fish from us,” Mo said, with the same enthusiasm she invoked as she greeted market customers by name.
