TRAVERSE CITY -- Free tax preparation is available for low- to moderate-income families and individuals, seniors, people with disabilities and people with limited English skills.
The Northwestern Michigan Community Action Agency has trained volunteers who will prepare and electronically file both federal and state returns. The service is offered at a variety of locations. Call to make an appointment.

Bring your social security, pension and interest statements, wage and earnings statements (Form W-2) from all employers, your 2008 tax return and other relevant information about income and expenses, as well as, social security cards and photo ID.
