GAYLORD -- A Kalkaska man died after his vehicle crashed into a semi-truck.
Timothy Lyle Luchenbill, 21, of Kalkaska, died around noon Thursday after his truck crossed the center line near M-32 and Hallock Road in Otsego County’s Elmira Township, and collided with a semi-truck. The semi-truck rolled over and its contents spilled onto the highway, according to a statement from the Michigan State Police Gaylord Post.
Luchenbill and the driver of the semi-truck were taken to Otsego Memorial Hospital. Luchenbill died shortly after he was admitted to the hospital, while the semi-truck driver was treated for minor injuries.
Police continue to investigate the crash.
