TRAVERSE CITY -- A panel discussion Monday will debate the "green" efforts of Northwestern Michigan College.
NMC faculty and professionals will answer questions and discuss the college's current eco-friendly practices during "It Ain't Easy Being Green . . . or is it? NMC's Panel on Reducing Our Carbon Footprint."
Panel members include Kirk Waterstripe, Blake Key, Michael Emerson and Julia Hemphill, president of Students for the Environment. The event is presented by the Phi Theta Kapp honor society.
The free discussion begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Dennos Museum Center's Milliken Auditorium on NMC's main campus, 1701 E. Front St.
