TRAVERSE CITY -- The State Theatre in Traverse City and the Antrim County Democratic Party will give away frozen turkeys at two sites on Tuesday.
Two hundred turkeys will be given away outside the State Theatre in downtown Traverse City on Tuesday beginning at noon. Turkeys will be frozen and come in individual boxes.
The turkey giveaway is a nod to the community for two years of support and patronage, State Theatre officials said.
Antrim Democrats plan to give away 400 turkeys Tuesday in Mancelona at the Mancelona Senior Center located at 122 E. State St. across from the Buck poll beginning at 1:30 pm.
