TRAVERSE CITY -- Toys for Tots plans numerous local events over the next few weeks, including the "Toy Bus."
Regional bus services will be accepting donations at several locations over the next few weeks. New, unwrapped gifts for children and teens are needed for an expected 20 percent increase in requests.
-Nov. 30, 4-7 p.m.: Kalkaska Bill Marsh Ford, Celtic Shuttle and Tours.
-Dec. 1. 4-7 p.m.: A. Papano's PIzza, 7803 Crystal Drive, Beulah, Celtic Shuttle and Tours.
-Dec. 2: 4-7 p.m.: Ruby Tuesday's, in front of Meijer, Cadillac, Wexford Transit Authority.
-Dec. 3: 4-7 p.m.: Gaylord Walmart, Otsego County Bus System.
-Dec. 4: 8 a.m.-7 p.m.: Burger King near Meijer, Traverse City. Meijer will match toys purchased from its store on this day that are donated to Toys for Tots.
