TRAVERSE CITY -- School board members in Traverse City will hold back-to-back special meetings next week.
The seven-member board moved its organizational meeting, used to elect officers, to 5 p.m. Jan. 4. The meeting will be held in the board room at the district's central office on Webster Street in Traverse City.
It will be the first meeting for incoming board members Julie Puckett and Kelly Hall.
The following day, the board will meet in what's known as a committee of the whole to discuss district finances. The meeting will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., also at the Webster Street office.
Its first regular meeting will be held Jan. 11.
