Water warning issued for Bryant Park
TRAVERSE CITY — Local health officials warn against full body contact with the water at Bryant Park in Traverse City.
Grand Traverse County Health Department weekly tests the water at area beaches and this week found E. coli levels at Bryant Park above recommended levels for contact above the waist. Wednesday's water sample showed a 433 count per 100 mL of E. coli, above the 300 count level that is acceptable for swimming.
The department sampled the water again Thursday and results are expected around noon today.
