Woman arrested for theft, drugs

TRAVERSE CITY -- Police arrested a Grawn woman for possession of crack cocaine after she allegedly stole steel scouring pads from a grocery store.

The woman, 29, allegedly took the merchandise from Glen's Market on Eighth Street then took off in a sport utility vehicle shortly before 5 a.m. Friday.

Traverse City police pulled her over on Webster Street and later arrested her for theft. Police then found crack cocaine on her and arrested her for possession. Steel scrubbing pads can be used in crack cocaine use.''
