Due to a reporter and editor’s error, U.S. Rep. James Oberstar was identified in a March 25 story and in the March 30 Cheers and Jeers column as a Minnesota Republican. Oberstar is a member of that state’s Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party. He has been a member of Congress since 1975.
