BELLAIRE -- Authorities are looking for an alleged pedophile.
Antrim County Prosecutor Charles Koop charged Steven Otto Lake, 38, of East Jordan, with felony criminal sexual conduct in the first degree for allegedly assaulting a child under 13 years old.
The victim reported to police in November last year that Lake had sexual contact with her, including oral and vaginal sex, between March 2006 and February 2007, Koop said.
Koop said Lake lived in the same house as the victim, but is not related to her. He now lives elsewhere, said Antrim County Sheriff Dan Bean.
The child was eight years old at the time of the alleged crime, Bean said.
Authorities hope to arrest Lake as soon as possible. Anyone with information can call Bean's office at (231) 533-8627.
