TRAVERSE CITY -- A man with five prior drunken driving convictions may add another to his record.
Michael Thomas Holland, 48, of East Bay Township, is charged with third-offense drunken driving, second-offense operating with a suspended license, operating without insurance and operating an unregistered vehicle.
A Michigan State Police trooper stopped Holland for driving with an improper license plate, court records show. Holland smelled of alcohol and allegedly registered a .307 blood alcohol content on a breath test, police said.
Michigan's legal limit is .08.
