Father Fred seeks personal care items

TRAVERSE CITY — The Father Fred Foundation's pantry is running low on personal care items.

The nonprofit is looking for donations of: bar soap, razors, deodorant, shampoo, diapers, baby wipes, feminine hygiene products, toilet paper, laundry soap, toothpaste and toothbrushes.

Personal care items are particularly needed because they can't be purchased with food stamps.

Father Fred also needs new or lightly used bed linens and towels for its clothing and household goods department.

Donations can be dropped off at the group's Hastings Street location Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
