Blues duo gives three concerts

Traverse City — New York City blues duo Mulebone will give concerts in Traverse City, Elk Rapids and Glen Arbor.

Mulebone includes multi-instrumentalist John Ragusa and roots music specialist Hugh Pool. In addition to performing live and on television, they have won blues artist of the year at radio stations from Washington State to New Jersey.

Mulebone will perform Friday, July 23, at InsideOut Gallery, 229 Garland St., Traverse City; Saturday, July 24, at Seed Studio Gallery, 108 Dexter St., Elk Rapids; and Sunday, July 25, at Lake Street Studio Stage in Glen Arbor for the Manitou Music Festival. All concerts start at 8 p.m., and tickets for each are $15 in advance or $20 at the door.

Tickets for the Elk Rapids concert may be purchased at Seed Studio Gallery, Chef Charles or Corner Druggist in Elk Rapids, Wellington Street Market, Traverse City, or by calling 264-9020. Tickets for the duo's Manitou Music Festival appearance are available at Lake Street Studio Stage, the Glen Arbor Arts Association office or by calling 334-3179.
