FIFE LAKE — A man found dead in Fife Lake this summer drowned, an official said today.
Grand Traverse County Coroner Matthew Houghton said an autopsy showed Johnny McLeskey had a high blood-alcohol content of 0.23, and it's suspected he fell overboard while standing in his boat.
McLeskey was reported missing in late July after going fishing on the lake. His body was recovered Aug. 1 in the lake's northwest corner.
