TCLandP biomass forum 2 p.m. today

TRAVERSE CITY -- Public utility officials will listen to citizen concerns, comments and questions about a proposed wood-burning biomass power plant proposed for an industrial park in Traverse City.

Traverse City Light & Power will host a public forum today at 2 p.m. at Northwestern Michigan College's Hagerty Center, 715 E. Front St., in Traverse City. The utility held a similar forum on Thursday at the City Opera House.

Utility board members will meet again on April 7 to review ideas gathered at the forums and discuss expert analysis.
