Wolves fall to Tigers 13-6; end year 3-7

TRAVERSE CITY — The West Michigan Tigers held on for a close 13-6 victory over the Traverse City Wolves in semi-pro football action Saturday night at Thirlby Field.

The Tigers are 8-1, while the Wolves end the regular season 3-7.

Devonn Cooper scored on a 2-yard run for Traverse City in the first quarter to pull the Wolves within a point, but the extra point was blocked.

A 25-yard TD run by West Michigan's Charles Lipsey put the Tigers up by the final margin.
