ID released in fatal snowmobile crash

A woman killed in a snowmobile accident in Antrim County is identified as Kimberly O’Neal, 50, of Mancelona.

O’Neal died Feb. 15 about 2:30 p.m. when her snowmobile collided with a logging truck on Smith Lake Road off County Road 618 in Custer Township. The logging truck, owned by Pinney Logging of East Jordan, was traveling north on Smith Lake with a full load of logs at the time of the crash. The driver of the truck, Clifford Gregware Jr., 30, was not injured.

The Antrim County Sheriff’s Department is investigating.
