BAY CITY (AP) -- The Bay City Times and The Saginaw News are launching a newsstand print edition called Great Lakes Bay Tuesday.
Executive Editor John Hiner announced the new edition Sunday.
The Bay City Time and The Saginaw News cut back their print editions from seven days a week to three last year.
The new paper will be available at newsstands on Tuesday mornings starting March 30. Hiner says it will include regional and local news, sports and opinions, obituaries, classified ads and more.
Hiner announced previously that The Flint Journal would add a Tuesday edition for newsstand sales beginning March 23.
The Bay City, Flint and Saginaw papers are available on Thursday, Friday and Sunday for home delivery or purchase at newsstands. The papers are owned by the Newhouse family's Advance Publications.
