TRAVERSE CITY —
The Traverse City North Stars will host the Michigan Warriors in a first-round North American Hockey League playoff series.
The best-of-five series starts Friday night at Centre ICE. Face-off is at 7 p.m.
Michigan edged Janesville 2-1 Sunday to pass the Jets for third in the North Division. Traverse City, which ended its regular season Saturday night with a 3-2 shootout win at Port Huron, had already clinched second-place.
