TRAVERSE CITY — William "Bill" Irving Toedebusch, 49, of Traverse City, passed away Friday, Oct. 12, 2012. Bill was born on Sept. 7, 1963, in Grand Rapids, the son of Kenneth and Rachel (Webster) Toedebusch.
Bill previously worked at Tom's Food Market, 14th Street, and held various jobs around Traverse City as a cook in his earlier years. Bill also spent time in Naples, Fla., and worked as a chef for the Ritz Carlton.
Playing tennis, frisbee, fishing and riding his bike were activities that Bill looked forward to during his free time. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time in the sun and on the beach. His restored Z28 Chevy Camaro was one of his prized possessions.
Bill is survived by his mother, Rachel (J.R.) Harris, of Inverness, Fla.; siblings, Ken (Lola) Toedebusch, of Traverse City, and Bob (Lori) Toedebusch, of Grand Rapids; sister, Debbie (Doug) Holland, of Lansing; nieces and nephews, Ken, Kirk, Kristin, Kalin, Kelsey and Rachel; and many great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth William Toedebusch Sr.

Cremation will take place. A graveside memorial service will be held Friday, Oct. 26, at 1 p.m., at Oakwood Cemetery.
